Information For Authors

We welcome researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and scholars to submit their original scientific manuscripts to Kaltara Journal of Health Sciences (KJHSc), an open-access scholarly journal published by Politeknik Kaltara, Indonesia.

KJHSc provides a platform for disseminating scientific research and scholarly contributions in Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Promotion, Occupational Health and Safety, and other relevant disciplines within the health sciences.

Before Submitting a Manuscript

Prospective authors are strongly encouraged to review the journal's About the Journal page, Aims and Scope, Author Guidelines, and Publication Ethics before preparing and submitting their manuscripts.

Authors must ensure that their submissions comply with the journal's editorial policies, manuscript formatting requirements, and ethical standards.

Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's Online Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Authors who do not yet have an account are required to register with the journal before submitting a manuscript. Registered authors may log in using their existing credentials and begin the online submission process.

During submission, authors should provide complete and accurate manuscript metadata, including the title, abstract, keywords, author information, and other required details.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

Submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability for the journal and compliance with submission requirements.

Manuscripts that meet the preliminary editorial criteria may proceed to the journal's double-anonymous peer-review process, in accordance with the applicable editorial policies.

Editorial decisions will be communicated to authors through the journal's online submission system and email notifications.

Manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication in another journal at the time of submission.
